What is up with this season? Today marks the latest contribution to a 7 game win streak for the Bears. For awhile, I had decided that it was simply that the NFC North was filled with crappy teams. However, after more and more wins, it seems that the team might actually be pretty good. They have the highest rated defense in the NFL, allowing only 11 points per game; however, it can be said it is usually not your defense that gets you the wins in the post season. Right now, I really wish that I had NFL Sunday Ticket, but the NFL Network’s content on Comcast on demand at least lets me watch 10 minutes of highlights every week.
For a rundown of the different football tv packages out there, I found this page interesting.

Bears had been winning mostly against teams with losing records – the benefit of having sucked last year.
Beating Carolina at home was big, but beating Tampa at home was Big. The game vs. Pittsburgh is the one to watch – if they can shut down the run at Heinz field, then this team has a legit shot at the superbowl IMO.
