Zibblog

Well, I realized tonight that it has been a week since the last post, so despite the fact that I should be packing, I decided to throw up a blog entry with some odds and ends. After the weekend and the move, I’ll be back to the prolific zibblog entries you all know and love, so hopefully, this will tide you over.

Awhile back, Chris posted a shout out to the zibblog giving me mad props. Stuff like that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. The burning question is still “where does Chris keep his blog with more controversial content?” Not that we don’t all love the “texty”, thought provoking familyandfriends blog but where is the http://awaken.typepad.com/keepthewomenandchildrenaway blog?

The other day, I got a FedEx tracking number from plasma.com that I thought was my tv but which turned out to just be some connectors. I now go back to eagerly anticipating the arrival of the plasma.

Awhile back, I read about Scott putting his bluetooth headset through the washing machine. This gave me a chuckle, thinking “silly, silly Scott”. Later, I read about Nate doing the same thing. Given that I own the same model as both of them, you might have thought this would make me paranoid. Nope. This last weekend, I did the same thing to my own headset. I let it dry out, charged it, and it did start working again. However, I’ve been told that it’s now a lot harder to hear me. I may see about getting a screwdriver that will allow me to open it up and see if there’s anything I can do. However, I was also looking on amazon and noticed that you can get the next rev of the same headset (with a AAA battery slot instead of a built in rechargable) for $34.

I’ve got a few random blog topics running around in my head that I’ll hopefully post during the weekend. I was thinking lately about something I read on someone’s blog (can’t remember what blog at the moment) about not letting the blog just be a collection of links. I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. However, if I’m going to do that, I want to throw in the occasional link that makes JB go “huh?” (JB tends to be my measure of just how random a blog post is).
